Siting next to the snow, just south of Juniper Springs lodge, these townhomes are the largest and most luxurious in this group of Mammoth Mountain rentals. These premiere properties are privately owned but managed professionally. Did we mention the gorgeous views the Sherwin Mountains? Breathtaking </p> <p>The Little Eagle ski area is the lowest part of Mammoth Mountain and is connected by chair 15 also called "Eagle Express" With one beginner run you're at Canyon Lodge, the middle of Mammoth Mountain, and from here you can access the entire mountain. Part of this area is the base lodge which has food service, a ski store to pick up missing or needed gear; you can purchase lift tickets, get ski school, or just hang out with coffee and cocktails at the restaurant bar.</p> <p>The Juniper Crest Townhome come in 3 or 4 bedroom models. They share 1 or 2 common walls with the next unit, but no one above or below as you have a private garage. . Inside each unit is decorated differently but all have similar amenities including full kitchens with cookware and dishes, fireplaces, cable TV and WI-FI Some may have sleeper sofas and some may also have a private spa on their back decks.</p> <p>Guests love Juniper Crest as this side of Mammoth is much quieter than any other part of town or most other slopeside properties. When you're ready to go to town, you can ride the free shuttle, or drive and it is about a mile to either Restaurant Row downtown or to The Village. Staying at this kind of Mammoth Mountain rental is like having your own cozy villa tucked away.
